Emanations from a shaman issue forth in this painting. Sinister serpentine figures on both the left and right allude to the duality of existence. This  could be seen as a trance like moment of memory from our past evolution. Mankind may have been awakened to conscious vision through its relationship to predators like snakes and serpents. That which threatens is also that which helps to build meaning and resistant strength.
